David Goodlad, Software Developer

David has had a lifelong passion for computers and technology. Over the years,
he’s grown from hacking on games in Visual Basic, to C/C++ for solving complex
optimization problems, and most recently to Ruby for a huge range of
interesting projects.

He learns new languages quickly, and enjoys the challenge of solving problems
from new perspectives. His early days were dominated by work in a Windows
environment, but for the past 10+ years he has concentrated mainly on unix
systems. System administration has become a hobby and occasionally entered
into his professional career.

In his off-time, David enjoys many hobbies – sometimes too many! His recent
interests have lain mostly in the areas of DJing electronic music, and
photography.
